For Airbus DS it is a pleasure to sponsor the « Innovative SME award » as we do every year.

This award is indeed a key element to reinforce the cyber security industrial ecosystem. First, for start-ups and SME which greatly contribute to technological innovation but sometimes lack visibility on the market, it is an opportunity to be more visible and to measure market needs and expectations. Indeed the jury of the Innovative SME award gathers together all the stakeholders of the French cyber security ecosystem (national authorities, industries, end-users, investors, experts). This enables sharing of different perspectives, feedbacks and experiences. Furthermore, for industries like Airbus Defence and Space, this award is a concrete opportunity to discover new, disruptive ideas and to contribute to their success on the market.

Last year, nearly 60 application files had been submitted, which illustrates how rich and innovative the national industrial base is. Cyber security is key for protecting our infrastructures, but it is also a  great contributor to technological excellence. That is why the Innovate SME award has a key dimension of “enabler”.

I am sure that this year will bring again new opportunities to meet diverse and bold candidates !
