This network of zombie machines, specialized in hyper-volumetric attacks, reached a peak of 29.7 Tbps.

On December 3, 2025, Cloudflare released a report on the latest large-scale DDoS attacks, particularly those launched by the Aisuru botnet. Comprising several million zombie machines, the botnet is said to have carried out more than 1,300 DDoS attacks over a three-month period, many of them classified as hyper-volumetric — with peaks exceeding 1 Tbps.

One attack even set a new global record, hitting a peak of 29.7 Tbps. The report does not specify either the target or the presumed perpetrator of this offensive, notable for its brevity (69 seconds), but one that Cloudflare claims to have successfully mitigated. The company states it has mitigated 2,867 Aisuru-related attacks since the beginning of 2025, nearly 45% of which were hyper-volumetric.
