Dominique LAPPRAND ALCCI

Dominique Lapprand is a former gendarmerie officer who has held responsibilities at the departmental level and in central administration. He is a graduate of the National Academy of the FBI and an auditor of the INHESJ.

He has notably directed the Gendarmerie Nationale's prospective centre and served at the Direction des affaires criminelles et des grâces of the Ministry of Justice. He was seconded for four years to the European Commission as a Justice and Home Affairs expert and then participated in numerous European projects in the EU's neighbourhood. In recent years, he has worked on security sector reform in eight African countries and in parallel with private companies on security information systems and illicit trade.

Dominique Lapprand has taught at the Ecole de guerre and at Sciences Po Paris. He is currently working on the Erasmus ISM-KA project to develop an executive master's degree in security management for public and private sector executives.
