Experts from Kasperky have discovered a Brazilian hacking campaign that targets home routers to steal banking information. The web-based first employs phishing to attract the attention of the victim. When the victim is distracted by pornographic images, a script is being downloaded in the background try configurations that will reconfigure the DNS settings. Once the DNS settings have been changed, the attackers are able to redirect the victim to false websites where the banking credentials are stolen. This type of attack will probably spread quickly in Brazil.
