[InfoSecurity] China allegedly DDoS-ed a Hong Kong online voting platform and newspaper

The voting platform and the Apple Daily newspaper, which is anti-Beijing, have been hit by a major DDoS attack prior to the universal suffrage referendum in Hong Kong. Due to the surrounding circumstances, it is believed the DDoS was carried out by the Chinese government or one of its proxies. Amazon Web Services, Cloudfare, and UDomain were the companies selected by the University of Hong Kong to host the voting platform.
