The joint venture between Google, Thales and Capgemini provides cloud hosting in isolated environments.

Fivetran, the US specialist in data ingestion, announced on August 26, 2025, that it has chosen S3NS – the joint venture between Google and France’s Thales and Capgemini – to host its services aimed at critical operators. Fivetran has selected the “Local Controls” offering, which ensures access to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services within an isolated environment managed by Thales.

Data ingestion refers to the process of automatically collecting and synchronizing data in order to store and process it in a centralized environment.

S3NS is seeking SecNumCloud certification from France’s cybersecurity agency Anssi for its “Trusted Cloud” offering. This solution is distinct from the “Local Controls” hosting chosen by Fivetran.
