They are expected to appear before the New Brunswick court soon.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) announced on March 7, 2025, that it had recently arrested four men accused of online child exploitation. Aged between 35 and 44, they are expected to appear “soon” before the New Brunswick court to face charges related to “the exploitation of children on the Internet.”

Authorities have not provided details on the specific allegations, but law enforcement officers seized 26 electronic devices during their searches. The RCMP’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit in New Brunswick carried out the four arrests between February 18 and February 27, 2025.

These arrests are part of a large-scale national operation against online child exploitation, called “Project Steel,” coordinated by the RCMP’s National Child Exploitation Crime Centre.
