Cyber Quiz Family: a tool to prepare future generations
As part of Cybermoi/s 2024, Cybermalveillance.gouv.fr is organizing the Cyber Quiz Family for the third consecutive year, a game-contest designed to test your cybersecurity reflexes while fostering dialogue within families. Through illustrations depicting everyday situations, parents and children are invited to discuss the main cyber threats and best practices to adopt. Whether it’s password management, backups, or updates, the Cyber Quiz Family allows participants to learn in a fun and interactive way. How to participate? The game will be accessible starting October 1, 2024, on the Cybermalveillance.gouv.fr website. In the meantime, brush up on your knowledge with the Cyber Guide Family 2023, a pedagogical resource compiling the essential steps to strengthen your cybersecurity.

The National Assembly hosts the official launch of this edition, with open discussions focused on digital sovereignty and cybersecurity as a pillar of democracy.

Organized in person by the Metropole of Montpellier, Cyber’occ, and AMF34, this day is dedicated to local elected officials, businesses, and citizens seeking to strengthen their protection against cyber threats. October 26, 2024: Spotlight on IoT Security, Science and Industry Library, Paris
A roundtable discussion to explore the growing challenges of securing Internet of Things (IoT) devices with experts in new technologies. Alexandre Cabrol Perales, Director of Cyberattack Detection and Response Services at Sopra Steria and President of the WOCSA association, will share his expertise on the topic. The association aims to promote cybersecurity by facilitating the exchange of knowledge between experts and non-experts through concrete actions and accessible educational materials.
Cybermoi/s 2024: InCyber News, Your Source for Cybersecurity Information
As a leading media outlet in the field of cybersecurity, InCyber News is actively involved in covering Cybermoi/s 2024. Throughout October, we will highlight major initiatives and current trends in digital security through articles, exclusive interviews, and reports.
Our coverage will also extend internationally, focusing on European and Canadian cybersecurity policies. The culmination of this commitment will be our participation in the InCyber Forum Canada, scheduled in Montreal on October 29-30, 2024. This event will bring together global experts to discuss critical infrastructure protection and the fight against cybercrime.
Cybermoi/s in Europe and Beyond
Cybermoi/s is not limited to France. Led by ENISA at the European level, the European Cybersecurity Month aims to raise awareness among all EU citizens about digital risks. Each year, a series of actions, trainings, and workshops are organized throughout Europe to inform and strengthen cybersecurity skills.
Think Cybersecurity: a Canadian intergenerational and inclusive campaign
Canada actively participates in the Cyber Security Awareness Month in Canada with its national campaign: “Generation Cyber Safe: Because online security knows no age”. This campaign emphasizes the importance of cybersecurity for all generations and is divided into five thematic weeks:
- Week 1: The Most Protected Generation!
- Week 2: The Most Ingenious Generation!
- Week 3: The Most Connected Generation!
- Week 4: The Most Proactive Generation!
- Week 5: The Most Collaborative Generation!
To participate, organizations and citizens can use the hashtags #CyberMonth2024 and #ThinkCybersecurity to join the conversation and raise awareness among their peers about the importance of digital security.
