Like 2023, InCyber Forum and the ONE Conference will host another duplex webinar to bring together the cyber community in both countries, and beyond. This duplex webinar will be hosted simultaneously from Campus Cyber (Paris) and The French Embassy in the Netherlands (The Hague), on January 25, from 3pm to 6pm. The theme of this year’s webinar is : « Your Cryptography Will Be Broken. Prepare now! A NL-FR exchange of views ».

The landscape of quantum computing and technology has experienced significant advancements in recent years. While quantum computers capable of breaking cryptography do not currently exist, experts project the feasibility of constructing advanced quantum computers between 2030 and 2040 that possess this capability.

Join us for an engaging discussion, on January 25 2024, on the emerging threats associated with advanced quantum computers and technology in the coming years. We will emphasize the mission-critical importance of initiating preparations for migration to quantum-resistant cryptographic standards starting today.

Our speakers will bring valuable insights from their experiences, having worked on a preparation migration program for the Dutch government over the past year. They have also collaborated within Campus Cyber/Studio of Commons, contributing to an awareness-raising booklet on the topic of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC).

Opening remarks by H.E. Mr. François Alabrune, Ambassador of France to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

On the Dutch side, we will welcome Sarah Jane Mellor, moderator, Member of the Cybersecurity Advisors Network (CyAN) and representative of the InCyber Forum in the Netherlands; Anita Wehmann, Program manager Digital Resilience Central Dutch Government at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations and initiator of the Quantum secure cryptography Gov. program; Germain van der Velden, IT advisor at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Watermanagement and Ronald Cramer, Professor of Mathematics at Leiden University and Head of the Cryptology Research Group at CWI (National Research Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science in The Netherlands).

On the French side, we will welcome Angèle Guilbert, Project Manager and Coordinator of the Working Group on Post-Quantum Cryptography, Studio des Communs, Campus Cyber; Florent Grosmaître, CEO of CyptoNext Security and Benjamin Smith, Algorithmic Number Theorist and Cryptographer, INRIA and Ecole Polytechnique.
