The Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act (CISA) was proposed in the US Senate to facilitate the transfer of personal data between private companies and government agencies. CISA raises a lot of concern with issues such as privacy, corporate liability, freedom of information, law enforcement and national security. This bill is closely related to the previously unpopular bill, the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA), which died in the Senate.
