Spun off from EcoVadis last year, this French start-up specializes in supplier cyber risk assessment.

On May 24, 2023, French start-up CyberVadis announced that it had raised €7 million, backed by Swedish fund Zobito. The start-up, which specializes in supplier cyber-risk assessment, was originally a subsidiary of EcoVadis, the French CSR assessment unicorn. But a spin-off gave it its independence in 2022…

With double-digit growth last year, CyberVadis claims that 25% of CAC40 companies are among its customers. The company markets a platform enabling large corporations to assess their suppliers’ ability to detect and defend against cyber-attacks.

« This assessment is not punitive, but supportive, » explains Estelle Joly-Foillard, co-founder and operational director of the start-up. « Major groups are not interested in sorting out their suppliers. They want to help them face up to the risk of attack« , she points out.

« This round of financing will enable us to hire new talent, accelerate our expansion in Europe and the United States, and continue developing features on our platform, » adds Estelle Joly-Foillard.
