Russian DDoS attacker wants to share his expertise with cybercriminal trainees

On April 9, 2023, cybersecurity researcher Damien Bancal revealed that the pro-Russian DDoS group Killnet had created a cybercrime school. It’s called « Dark School”, and it provides online training for $249.

The courses teach how to launch DDoS attacks, how to create fake profiles, or how to carry out credit card fraud. Additionally, the « Dark School » provides training in the exploitation of spyware and the psychological effects of cyber warfare. Courses are offered in English, Spanish, Russian, and Hindi.

In a post announcing the creation of the school, the hacktivists group wrote: « Our Killnet team would like to share with you the experience we gained during the tough year of 2022! We’ve explored the web, attacked enemies online, made mistakes but learned from them, evolved, and moved on!«
