Palo Alto Networks announced on June 2, 2026, the acquisition of Portkey, a U.S. start-up specializing in the control of autonomous AI agents. The value of the deal was not disclosed. The acquisition is part of Palo Alto Networks’ strategy to build a unified offering for securing AI use cases, following its acquisitions of Protect AI and CyberArk.
Portkey specializes in “AI Gateways,” real-time controllers for AI traffic.
