During maintenance phases, software tests resilience of organization’s IT/OT environment.
On October 17, 2023, Siemens announced the launch of an all-in-one software suite that tests the cybersecurity of industrial networks. Named “Sinec Security Inspector”, it provides an array of security tools that are integrated in a single interface.
The solution offers analysis, during maintenance periods, of all or part of a manufacturer’s network infrastructure. The organization can automate the test phases, and thus “check all of an IT/OT environment’s components, including individual components,” explains Michael Metzler, Vice-President of Horizontal Management Cybersecurity for Siemens Digital Industries.
“Customers can quickly pinpoint risks and potential threats, which allows them to swiftly mitigate cyber vulnerabilities. This makes industrial networks inspections much easier,” he added.
