In Brief:
Paris, September 30, 2024 – The InCyber Forum’s Start-up Award annually recognizes particularly innovative European start-ups in the field of digital security and trust. Through a call for applications open to French and European companies, the jury, composed of around twenty recognized experts, will select up to twelve start-ups to be auditioned.
A 12th edition sponsored by Crédit Agricole. This award, now established as Europe’s most prestigious event for promoting cybersecurity innovation, will this year be sponsored by Crédit Agricole. This partnership reflects Crédit Agricole’s commitment to cybersecurity and support for innovation, particularly through its “Villages by CA” network of start-up accelerators located across the regions.
An entire ecosystem dedicated to cybersecurity gems. The jury, comprising CISOs, CIOs, investment fund representatives, and the French National Cybersecurity Agency (ANSSI), will be chaired by François Delzant, IT Risk and Cybersecurity Director at Crédit Agricole. Their mission will be to evaluate the received applications (78 in 2024) and interview the shortlisted companies. Winners will gain increased visibility across the Forum’s platforms, and the Grand Prize winner will receive a complimentary booth at the InCyber Forum and the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion.
An attractive springboard in a growing cybersecurity market. The cybersecurity market is estimated at over $200 billion. With growth exceeding 15% in 2023, investors are increasingly focused on young French and European companies. The Start-up Award, a true stepping stone, has supported numerous winners in their development over the years, such as Pradeo (2015 winner), GitGuardian (2021 winner), and Anozr Way (2023 winner).
“The award aims to highlight innovation in all its forms, whether it’s technological or service innovation, use cases, or business models. That’s why the solutions are evaluated based on five criteria: innovation, maturity, operational efficiency, economic viability, and uniqueness,” explains Guillaume Tissier, General Manager of the InCyber Forum.
“This prestigious award offers us the opportunity to meet a highly qualified jury with different perspectives. It also provides a valuable spotlight for Snowpack, allowing us to promote our innovative technology in the cybersecurity market,” says Olivier Morel, General Manager of Snowpack, the 2024 winner.
Applications will be open starting Tuesday, October 1, at:
