Electronics giant and world IT services leader will share technology to strengthen their French customers’ cyber resilience.

On September 5, 2023, Thales, the French electronics giant, and the US IT services world leader, Kyndryl, announced a technical and strategic alliance on cybersecurity. Kyndryl was born out of the demerger of IBM infrastructure services in 2021.

The goal of this partnership is to “provide French businesses and institutions with better protection for their computer systems, technology and operational equipment.”

In order to do so, Thales will provide Kyndryl’s customers with their cyberprotection tools, in particular their cyber rapid reaction force. In exchange, Kyndryl will offer Thales customers their full range of cyber resilience and incident response solutions, which are designed to guarantee “quick, reliable and scalable recovery in hybrid multicloud environments.”
